CTA-2006 Compliant

Answer ID #199 in our Knowledge Base .">Power ratings on Rockford Fosgate amplifiers conform to CEA-2006 industry standards. These guidelines mean your amplifier's output power ratings are REAL POWER numbers, not inflated marketing ratings.

CE Compliant

It proves to the authorities, but also to the buyer -or user- that this product fulfills all essential safety and environmental requirements as they are defined in the so-called European Directives. The ce marking directive (93/68/EEC) was adopted on 07-22-1993 and updated as 768/2008 EC on 13-8-2008. The directive gives a detailed description of the initials CE and any other marks specific to a particular directive and the many ways conformity may be acquired. In return for fulfilling the CE marking requirements, the manufacturer or its agent gets the permission to cover the entire European market using only one approval procedure for the topics covered in the applicable directives. No member state of the European Community can refuse trade of any (electronic or electrical) product that has been CE marked (unless fraud suspected). For some products however, national regulations exist, as long as the requirements covered in these national regulations are not covered by a pan-European Directive. ">This product fulfills all essential safety and environmental requirements as defined in the European Directives (768/2008 EC).

Dust - We make sure that displays and motor structures are sealed up tight so they look as clear as possible and perform day in and day out no matter how many times you hit the trails. UV Inhibitor Materials - Centrex and ASA plastic materials are used for their UV radiation resistance and components are tested in accordance with ASTM D4329 testing and certification procedures. Corrosion Protection (Electronics) - Two part epoxy coated PCB boards prevent corrosion of critical components due to exposure in moisture rich environments. Stainless Hardware - Stainless hardware is used due to its natural resistance to corrosion and rusting. This ensures that electrical connections will not degrade over time due to exposure to the elements. ">These amplifiers are protected against Dust, UV, Corrosion, and feature Stainless hardware.

3-Stage Airflow

Compact Rockford Fosgate Power BR and AD amplifiers generate a lot of wattage in a compact chassis. A natural by-product of generating this power is heat. To get rid of this heat, Rockford Fosgate engineers developed an efficient method to keep the amplifier running cool. This is accomplished by using a 3-stage thermal lock extrusion. It uses "dual fan forced induction" to pull in fresh air. It pulls heat off the MOSFETS and directs airflow into the exhaust channel. Then finally drives this heat out of the amplifier. Furthermore, the top heat sink is decoupled from the bottom, so the top remains cooler to the touch. SUMMARY When installing the amplifier, it's best to allow 2 to 3 inches minimum clearance around the fan intake and exhaust vents to optimize air-flow. As you can see, this method developed by Rockford Fosgate engineers, effectively exhausts heat and ensures your amplifier runs cooler for optimum performance. ">3-stage airflow method effectively exhausts heat and ensures your amplifier runs cooler for optimum performance.

The TM750X1bd Element Ready amplifier is a 750 watt RMS, 1 ohm stable unit built on out Class bd platform for maximum sound fidelity and efficiency. It also integrates out Constant Power technology which results in up to 25% more output power. Amplifier top mounted controls include our C.L.E.A.N. level setting system, integrated low pass crossover and our Punch EQ boost circuit. Upgraded input RCA connectors allow for high or low level input signal to be used through our differential input circuit which eliminates incoming noise and can provide a remote out signal when using high level inputs. Dual fan cooling, real time thermal monitoring and dual extruded heat sinks maintain heat dissipation even at high outputs keeping the amp cool. Other features include a conformal coated circuit board for protection against element exposure and compatibility with our PLC2 level remote control.
The Power TM750X1bd 750 Watt mono, ultra-compact amplifier is built on Rockford Fosgate's patented Class bd technology platform. This design creates a highly efficient design that reduces the electrical impact on the vehicles charging system by using the efficient Class D technology while maintaining fidelity combining it with Class b topology. Flexible vehicle integration is achieved via a configurable input harness with Molex style connectivity that accepts both RCA and speaker level signals while our differential input circuitry eliminates signal noise from entering the amplifier resulting in a clean audio signal. When using speaker level input signals, the amplifier also has integrated auto turn-on capabilities and converts its remote input terminal to an output that can be used to turn-on additional amplifiers. This can eliminate the need of sourcing a separate remote turn-on signal for the amplifier from the vehicle. Top mounted controls allow easy access to the built-in low pass crossover, patented Punch EQ boost circuit and our patented C.L.E.A.N. input/output clip detection circuits. The 3-stage thermal lock extrusion with dual fan forced induction keeps everything cool while our real-time thermal/protection schemes safeguard the amplifier in the event of overheating or short circuit conditions. The unit is also compatible with our Punch PLC2 remote level controller and is ideal for those installations where you need a compact amplifier that can produce high output power.

Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Electronics can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new electronics should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.
